Why the Delay

there are some stuff i wanted to post up on this blog for a couple of days now. But unfortunately, i had landed myself in hospital. A bit better now, hence starting to get back to speed on the GSoC project.

15 May

Some updates since i last posted:

- Working on implementing the solution using sql statements (not completely, but in essence)

- bind-dlz patch didn’t work. will keep to bind-mysql driver patch

- found the code that i want to edit in the patch (not logged in to the VM now, will post the code section later)

- got access to the vm already.

access to geodns vm

managed to catch Jeremy(oremj) on irc yesterday monday. He was setting up the vm for me to access. Hopefully i can get in to take a look today or tomorrow once i get to login info or something like this.

Can’t wait.

I will be having my 2nd final exam (Software Engineering) for this semester tomorrow morning. Can’t wait to get started on my GSoC project once my remaining papers are done.

4 more to go… excluding tomorrow’s paper!!! Wohoo!

Mozilla Projects

My proposal had been accepted by Mozilla Projects for GSoC! Yippe!

The project proposal is on “Weighted & GSLB GeoDNS”

More updates coming up soon!

My first post…

The purpose of this blog is to keep a log on my Google Summer of Codes activities. Assuming i get selected by a organization, i will post more regular updates. For now, as the application deadline is coming nearer, i had finished submitting my proposals.
